How I use the personal information you share with me.

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Who I am

I'm Lynette Tidy, trading as The Tidy Mindset, and I'm responsible for your personal information. You can contact me at hello@thetidymindset.co.uk.

What I collect and why

When you use the contact form or email me, I collect your name, your email address and whatever you tell me about what you'd like support with. I use this only to reply to you and to talk about whether coaching might help. If we go on to work together, I'll explain separately what notes I keep and how I protect them.

My lawful basis is that you've asked me to get in touch, so I need your details to take steps at your request. Where it's relevant, I also rely on my legitimate interest in answering enquiries to my business.

Who handles your information

I use a small number of services to run this website and receive messages. They process your information on my behalf:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts this website and forwards email sent to my business address
  • Google, which provides Gmail, where I receive and reply to email, and Google Forms, which runs the contact form and stores the responses

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. They use approved safeguards when they transfer personal data. I don't sell your information or use it for marketing.

How long I keep it

If you contact me but we don't work together, I'll delete your message and details after 12 months.

If we do work together, I'll keep your coaching records and invoices for six years after our work ends, and then delete them securely. I keep them for that long to meet tax record-keeping requirements and in case of any legal claim. I'll set out the details in our coaching agreement.

Cookies

This website doesn't set cookies of its own. The contact form opens on Google Forms in a separate tab, and Google may use cookies there under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can object to how I use it. Email me and I'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
